Dear GoWest Credit Union Advocates,


It is time to begin preparing to join your credit union colleagues in Washington, D.C., for the all-important 2026 America’s Credit Unions National Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC), which will take place March 1-5, 2026. Together, we will advocate for critical policy issues and deliver pivotal credit union messaging to members of the 119th Congress and key federal officials. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect and stand with your credit union family in Washington, D.C. — make your plans to join us next March!


The first step in preparing for the 2026 ACU GAC is to secure your room at one of the convention hotels that have been reserved for the GoWest family by ACU.  


The 2026 ACU National GAC room block is officially open! To secure your room, please access the hotel room block information provided below and take action as soon as possible, as the room blocks will fill up very quickly. In addition, it’s a good time to book flights and register for the GAC.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE ROOM BLOCK

The ACU GAC is one of the most important federal advocacy events of the year for the credit union movement, and although we’ve expanded our room block, it will fill quickly. Secure your spot by reserving your room today. 


REMINDER: Please only book the rooms needed to meet the needs of your credit union team, under the maximum booking allotment per group, as we want to ensure all GoWest credit unions can access the room block for their target hotel.


The GoWest Credit Union Association block includes the following hotels: 

  • The Embassy Suites Hotel* at a rate of $365 per night.
    Rate available Feb. 28–March 4.

  • The Capital Hilton* at a rate of $364 per night.
    Rate available Feb. 28–March 3.


*These rates apply to reserved nights. Please note that the rate availability dates vary by hotel. Taxes and additional fees may apply for these properties. 


FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO SECURE YOUR RESERVATION WITH EASE:

  1. Click on this updated unique link to book your room.

  2. Ensure the league is GoWest Credit Union Association.

  3. Enter this password; Olympus2026 (case sensitive)

  4. Select the hotel you prefer from the choices listed above.

    • REMINDER: Credit unions can book as individuals or groups (maximum 10 rooms per group).

  5. Create a password for each reservation you are placing (if you are placing more than one) to secure credit card information.

  6. Select the arrival/departure dates you would like. The rates apply to reserved nights, which vary depending on which property you choose.

  7. Enter payment information:

    • A major credit card is required for ALL reservations at the time of booking.

    • Credit cards will not be charged at the time of the reservation.

CANCELLATIONS AND CRITICAL DATES

  • Any reservation canceled on or before Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, will NOT be charged a cancellation fee. After Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, the reservation is subject to a one-night room and tax per canceled room. 

  • All reservation changes and cancellations must be completed with the GAC Housing Bureau by 4:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026

  • Feb. 13-17, 2026: During this timeframe, reservation information will be transferred from ACU to the hotels. No changes can be made during this time.   

  • Any reservation change or cancellation requested after Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, must be made directly with the hotel that has been reserved.
